¡Visiting the museums in the History Center of Quito!
Hey there!, My name is Nicole, actually, I´m living in Quito Ecuador, yesterday I visit one of the most importat part of the city, ¡The History Center!, and I really need to share some tips if you visit Quito. First, the History Center is know as the first world heritage site declarated by UNESCO, the "Quiteños" that are the people that live here affectionately refer to their city as “La Carita de Dios”, reflecting their pride and affection for their cultural heritage. This historic center is a vast colonial architectural ensemble, one of the largest and best preserved in the Americas. It is famous for its architectural richness, vibrant history and active cultural life, with cobblestone streets, majestic churches, historic plazas and dynamic urban life. It is a wonderfull destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a fascinating insight into the history and culture of Quito and Ecuador in general.
